This lesson will serve as a prerequisite for our Gastrointestinal Emergencies Series. Melodie Kolmetz offers a brief review of the GI Track Anatomy and a few key concerns that may affect your assessments / treatments. Melodie is a multi-disciplinary medical educator who serves as an assistant professor in the Physician Assistant Program at Rochester Institute of Technology as well as a New York State Paramedic level Certified Instructor Coordinator (CIC). Melodie’s experiences in pre-hospital medicine, primary care, and specialty care have proven to her that EMS providers are the unsung heroes of the healthcare system.

Final Exam: Participants have two attempts to earn a minimum grade of 80%. If you are unsuccessful you are welcome to take the course again. Best of luck!
