Participants will learn how to use the early childhood learning environment as a teaching strategy. Learners will have an opportunity to study the arrangement of space to support self-reliance, problem-solving, and the competence of young children. Through interactive content, video scenarios, discussion posts, as well as individual reflection, teachers will create a plan to rearrange their own classroom space to better serve their students. This is a 4-hour course worth 0.4 CEU's. This course can be utilized to meet the training requirements to earn or renew your Child Development Associate (CDA) credential. Course content is aligned with the CDA Subject Area 1: Planning a safe and healthy learning environment.
