Construction trades, often referred to as skilled trades, encompass a wide range of manual labor jobs related to the construction and maintenance of buildings, structures, and infrastructures.
Machine Guarding and Amputation Hazards	1.00	This course covers the sources of amputation hazards as well as the possible protection methods against them. Different machine guarding for various types of machines and tools will also be discussed.
Ergonomics	0.75	This course covers the topic of ergonomics. Ergonomics is the relationship between workers and their working environment. It will discuss the many types of ergonomics, what ergonomics is, and ways to help yourself in the workplace.
Office Safety and Health	0.50	This course covers the various factors that affect worker safety and health in an office environment, including furniture and equipment, the office physical environment, workspace design and ergonomics, job stress, and general physical hazards.

The course will cover the principles of safe patient handling, equipment use, risk assessment, communication, and teamwork.
CERT Firefighter Rehab Operations	1.00	This course is designed to train Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) members to recognize signs of physiological distress in firefighters. It seeks to provide information on how to set up safely and perform non-medical functions of firefighter rehabilitation. You will specifically learn what to do at the incident scene, in the rehab area, and during the rehab process.

In this course, you will watch videos on various types of falls that can occur while working in construction. You will learn about floor openings, fixed scaffolds, bridge decking, reroofing, skylights, and leading-edge work.
Driving Safety Off-Road Vehicles	1.50	This course teaches participants that defensive driving applies not only to licensed vehicles such as cars and trucks, but also to unlicensed vehicles such as golf carts and gators. Participants will learn guidelines for use of service carts, proper driving and operating procedures, how to carry loads, and precautions to take for pedestrians and driving at night.

Recent national tragedies in schools remind us that the risk is real: an active shooter incident can happen in any place at any time in any school district. The best way to make sure you are safe is to prepare ahead of time and be ready. Warning: Some of this content may be disturbing, if you need to take a break, please do so.
