This course explores curriculum development for early childhood programs. Identify factors to consider when selecting activities, courses, and resources for young children. Learn strategies for effectively implementing curriculum to support children’s learning and skill development. This course is designed to be part of a Child Development Associate (CDA) Credential™ curriculum. It covers CDA Subject Area 5: Strategies to Manage Effective Program Operation, and CDA Subject Area 7: Observation and Assessment. This course can also be taken as a stand-alone learning event or as part of a broader early childhood education curriculum.
