The purpose of this quick course is to make sure non-veterinary staff who are assisting with collection of biological samples (i.e. blood), treatments, vaccinations and anesthesia injections are trained in how to properly handle medical sharps and any risks that may be involved (i.e. zoonotic risks, biological contamination, trauma, drug exposure).
