Welcome to the National Good Agricultural Practices (GAPs) Course. The goal of the National GAPs Program is to reduce microbial risks in fruits and vegetables by developing a comprehensive extension and education program for growers, packers and anyone else who comes in contact with product. This 15-minute video offers guidance to workers on proper handwashing and toilet use, with emphasis on how their health affects the safety of fresh fruits and vegetables.
