Child Development: Birth to Three is intended to improve the quality of care for children ages birth to three by helping early educators understand the importance of early development and their role as a nurturer. The goal of Lesson 3: The Mobile Infant is to help early childhood educators understand the development of the mobile infant from 8 months to 18 months, recognize the average routines of the mobile infants and know the importance of an appropriate schedule and environment for the development of mobile infants.
