Some of us might have heard of, or maybe even memorized, the 10 "Laws of Shaping", but how many of us have ever broken one of them? In this workshop not only do we cover these foundational training "Laws" but to put the rules in context we also spend a little bit of time looking at some of the early work that has been done in studying behavior. We’ll discuss just how "illegal" training actions might sneak into our sessions, and the possible consequences that may (or may not?) apply. Consider this workshop your “Get Out of Jail Free” card – video of actual training sessions will help to identify situations where each of the 10 Laws of Shaping apply and illustrate some of the trickier laws of shaping.
