This talk will be an overview of common mechanisms of neck trauma (blunt/penetrating/strangulation), patterns of injury, and considerations that need to be taken in field and hospital management. Assessment, interventions, and the basics of trauma surgery for major aerodigestive and vascular injuries will be covered.
