Welcome to Infections Diseases in Early Care and Education Environments: Prevention and Control. This course has three lessons, all focused on reducing the risk of infectious diseases in early care and education environments.
In this course, you will define infectious diseases, and explore how they spread. You will also learn some of the strategies to manage the early care and education environment to reduce the spread of infectious diseases. Finally, you will explore the daily health check, and discuss policies about whether or not children with symptoms of infectious diseases can participate in program activities.
