This course is designed to teach basic concepts of behavior management using operant conditioning. You will build on the skills and knowledge gained through the Fundamentals of Animal Learning course as you learn Trust-Based Training techniques for managing animals in a zoological environment. Learning and incorporating these techniques will promote cooperative, trusting relationships between keepers and animals, helping to ensure safe and effective animal care and husbandry.
