Bloodborne Pathogens Training is mandated for all employees with occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens. Training should be at the time of initial assignment to tasks where occupational exposure may exist and annually thereafter. All First Aid Responders, Housekeepers, Physical Plant (maintenance) workers, and employees handling regulated waste (biohazard containers) and/or using syringes will need to take this training. This class will be taken at the time of your certification (or recertification) for FA/CPR/AED but since CPR is every two years, you will have to take this course on WAVE annually. There is an exam that you will need to pass with a 70% or higher in order to obtain credit.
