Before you can get your official food handler permit in Utah, you must complete an approved training course. Our food handler training meets these requirements by teaching you about best practices for preventing foodborne illness, as well as Utah food safety regulations.
Once you complete the lessons, pass any quizzes, and score at least 75% on the final exam, we will issue your temporary certificate of completion that’s valid for 30 days.
Because the food handler permit fee of $15 is included in the price of our training, we will also report your course completion to your local health department. Then, they will mail your official Utah food handler permit to you within 30 days.
