Description

Do you worry about the mental health of the youth you work with?

Do you know how to respond to challenging issues?

SEL Awareness Day is designed for staff who interact with children, especially those in grades 6th to 12th, on a daily basis to be aware of the various mental health programs that are available. The day is designed for the participants to get an introduction to three mental health programs that help staff identify children who might be experiencing mental health challenges and how best to respond.

Breakout Sessions:

  • Adverse Childhood Experiences
  • Responding to Mental Health Crisis
  • NAMI's* Ending the Silence
