Pediatric Respiratory Emergencies

This is a Virtual lecture

NYC Health + Hospitals (Kings County and Bellevue Hospitals) and Town of Wallkill EMS invite you to a focused presentation on the treatment of pediatric respiratory emergencies. We will learn about the nuances of pediatric anatomy & physiology, disease epidemiology, and we will explore the myths vs. facts of treatment. We will also discuss causes of common respiratory etiologies, submersion injuries (e.g., drowning), neurologic disorders of breathing, followed by brief case reviews. Our guest speaker is Dr. Mike Chernichaw, MD, MPH, CAQ-HP, CHWS, FP-C, CIC, a Physician at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and a Paramedic.

Registration is free, but mandatory: https://forms.gle/g64UgMDAzR3nyMRG7

Attendees will not receive CME credit if they do not pre-register.

Registration will lock 15 minutes after the lecture begins.
