This 90-minute, virtual training that prepares those working with families to promote poison safety. With poisoning the #1 cause of injury death in the U.S. and Florida, this training has never been more important. Learn who gets poisoned and why, who lives and who dies, and find out what substances are the most deadly. Training includes materials on home safety, drugs & medications, venomous animals, poisonous plants -- and how to get help fast. The class ends with trainees practicing giving advice using scenario-based learning.
