DV101 is an overview on the dynamics of domestic abuse. This presentation covers the definition of domestic abuse in Illinois, the forms of abuse, identifying early warning signs, understanding cycles of abuse, understanding why a victim does not “just leave” an abusive relationship, and most importantly how to safely advocate for victims so they can begin to lead a violence free life!
