Description

This is a free webinar from expert Eric Jaeger, JD, NRP on two important topics: 1) How EMTs and Paramedics can advocate for patients and prevent deaths in custody and 2) How EMTs and Paramedics can de-escalate crisis situations with agitated patients. Eric Jaeger has experience both as an attorney and as a paramedic, and he has traveled across the country presenting on these issues. He was also a co-author on the New England Journal of Medicine article entitled "Handcuffs and Unexpected Deaths — “I Can’t Breathe” as a Medical Emergency."
