Description

In-Person Certified Instructor Update (CIU) has been scheduled:

Program Coordinator: Joseph Itzkowitz, CIC, RF

Required dates –

· Sunday, February 22, 2026, 09:00 hrs.-12:00 hrs. (3 hrs. CIU Credit)

The course is intended for Certified Instructor Coordinators and Certified Lab Instructors.

 

Topics: 

  • Enhancing the Field Training Experience: The Importance of a Trained Preceptor (William McDonald) (1 Hour)
  • ‘Test Anxiety’ and Preparing Students for the Unknown (Joseph Itzkowitz) (1 Hour)
  • NYS DOH EMS Update (1 Hour)

  • Application for Emergency Medical Services Certification (DOH-65)
  • Copy of Certified Instructor Coordinator or Certified Lab Instructor certification
  • Copy of EMS Provider Card
