In partnership with Kids Hope Alliance and Voices Institute, The Partnership for Child Health - Jacksonville System of Care presents: Strategies for Becoming an Anti-Racist Multicultural Organization: Using the National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards as a Framework
Culturally responsive leadership is a critical component to creating anti-racist and equitable organizations and systems. Using the National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards and other tools such as the Continuum on becoming an Anti-Racist Multicultural Organization, facilitators will lead discussions about organizational and systems strategies that leaders may implement in bolstering organizational change and institutional accountability.
Participants will be able to:
1) Describe the Continuum on becoming an Anti-Racist Multicultural Organization;
2) List the domains of the National Culturally and Linguistically Appropriate Services (CLAS) Standards as a framework for advancing health equity; and
3) Identify the benefits of an equity organizational assessment.
This course will be broadcasted and recorded via Zoom Meeting and uses PowerPoint presentation, lecture, and discussions for instruction. You must register before attending the Zoom meeting as seats are limited.
