Description

The early relationships babies experience will form the foundation for all future wellbeing. These foundational relationships are the building blocks of positive development. Newborns need our help in order to thrive. In this course, you will learn research-based skills to help babies cry less, sleep more and flourish as they develop. This training emphasizes the joy caregivers can experience in everyday activities with babies.

Learning Objectives:

• Describe how pathways for all future learning and emotional wellbeing begin to develop during pregnancy and peak during the first months of life.

• Learn numerous Care Practices to help babies self-soothe, self-regulate and cry less.

• Explain the importance of early relationships as the foundation for infant wellbeing.

Please note: The maximum number of participants is 10. First registered is first enrolled. A wait list of 5 students will be established after the first 10 are registered. If you are not able to secure a place on the wait list, please look for the next available session. If you register and are unable to attend, please withdraw as soon as possible to release the seat .
